Responsible for developing a Water and Sanitation Project Plan, encompassing product registration and market entry strategies for smart water meters (frugal innovation technology) for Kenya, Namibia and Nigeria.
Achievements: Successfully developed and initiated an expansion model into Namibia, which is successfully running a pilot for the smart water meters.

2016-2017: Herbal Zone, Cape Town, South Africa: Market expansion Consultant
Responsible for mapping out a product entry strategy for East Africa (via Kenya), West African (via Ghana) and Southern Africa (via Namibia).
Achievements: Successfully managed and completed the product registration at the Kenya Pharmacy & Poisons board and marketed the product to over registered over 500 pharmacies thus creating a good entry point.

2013-2017: Hidefinition, Cape Town, South Africa; Project Management
Project management of Residential Builds and light civils projects operations
Achievements: Successfully administered and managed the registration process to completion at the Home Builders Registration Council and managed a team of 20 men in the construction of new residential builds. Also undertook 10 Fibre to the Home (FTTC) Projects for smart city project infrastructure upgrades in Cape Town.

2010-2013: Infinity Wellness and Training Centre, Cape Town, South Africa; Co-partner
In charge of capacity building and recruitment for wellness diploma courses.
Achievements: Successfully grew student numbers by 80% and provided mentorship, enterprise development and marketing training for the students, and assisted those with an entrepreneurial spirit to launch their businesses.

March 09 to July 10: Furntech, Cape Town, South Africa; Centre Manager
Responsible for operations, managing 10 staff members in two centres, involved mainly in administration, marketing, finance, training, mentorship and incubation.
Achievements: Management skills recognized and given additional centre to run in George, South Africa. I was the only manager running two centres in the organisation.

Responsible for project managing a countrywide R50 million PBC (Business Plan Competition).
Achievements: Successfully positioned the R50 million BPC as the biggest BPC challenge in South Africa and helped launch and expand over 200 businesses.

May 07 to June 08: Branson School of Entrepreneurship, Johannesburg, South Africa; Programme Manager
Tasked to manage the business Incubator, its support platform and importantly, attract and retain entrepreneurial students and graduates of Cida City Campus.
Responsible for the administration and dissemination of information to relevant support programs for start-ups (business); mentorship, coaching, handholding and peer support programs and events including graduation, market days and networking events.
Achievements: Built strong relationships with national, regional and global incubator networks, donors, staff and students.

January 04 to February 06: Urban Soul Communications, Cape Town, South Africa; Project Manager
Responsible for PR, marketing plans, communication plans, events, branding and public relations via brochures, newspapers, magazines, radio, the Cape Town Press Club.
Achievements: PR and successful launch of 3 patrol vessels for the Department of Environmental Affairs, Marine & Costal Management Unit.

May 03 to Deccember 03: National Referral Network, Cape Town, South Africa; Program Coordinator
Responsible for managing the online referral system, as well as marketing, public relations and event management.
Achievements: successfully grew client numbers by 70%, ensured seamless communication between the stakeholders: members, banks, bond originators, conveyancers.

September 97 to December 99: Kisumu Innovation Centre, Kisumu, Kenya; Project Consultant
Responsible for proposal writing, project management and administration, capacity building, marketing communications and PR for water hyacinth women led projects.
Achievements: successfully engaged the community via events, PR, maintained good relationships with women groups, youth groups and donors and acquired funding for projects.
